RAIA: Bandoi Boys outplayed PAK 2-0 to march into the finals of 2nd Santan and Silvio Mendes memorial soccer 2023 organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim, at Cavelossim ground, on Thursday. Bandoi Boys were lucky to take the lead when Asher Rodrigues took a free-kick from the edge of the penalty area which beat the porous wall and beat keeper Lawjio Gomes to take a lead 1-0.
Bandoi Boys increased the lead in the 16th minute when Flanco Rodrigues shot from the left flank which rebounded from PAK Melbert Rodrigues to roll into his goal for a self goal.
PAK mounted pressure with Melbert and Joshua searching for goals but fail to score. Bandoi Boys will meet winners of Rodrigues Youth and BDG.
