CARMONA: Bardez Veterans downed Fatorda Veterans 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Carmona Veterans football tournament organised by Janot Veterans Carmona, at Carmona Panchayat ground, on Friday.
Lawrence Cardozo opened the account for Bardez in the tenth minute. Twenty minutes later, Francis equalised for Fatorda.
It was Rafik who scored the match-winner for Bardez in the 49th minute.
