MAPUSA: Bardez Veterans downed Nerul Veterans 2-0 to enter into the semi-finals of 2nd All-Goa Veterans football tournament played at Candolim ground, on Saturday.
The first half ended in a goalless draw.
On crossing ends, Bardez Veterans came out with renewed energy and scored two quick goals through Michael and Benedict.
The man-of-the-match was awarded to Anand of Nerul by Bosco Monteiro, former national player.
Earlier, Fracture Veterans moved into next round defeating Goa Police 7-6 in the sudden death. Both teams played a good game, but Fracture were way ahead, Eusebio of Fracture was awarded the man-of-the-match.
