VILLA-MAREX-CHANDOR: Bardez Veterans defeated Areal Veterans 3-2 and moved into the semi-finals of the Villa Marex veterans soccer played at Villa Marex ground, Chandor on Tuesday.
Areal’s Jose Carvalho opened the scoreline with a placement shot in the tenth minute. Areal Seby missed chances in the 12th and 14th minutes.
Bardez’s Bruno Coutinho was at his best and connected well measured ball to Shailesh Miskin who shot into Areal net and equalised in the 47th minute.
Later in the 50th minute, Shailesh Misken put Bardez ahead in the game.
Thereafter Domnic levelled terms for Areal.
It was Bardez’s Domnic who netted the match-winner in the 60th minute.
