PANJIM: Bardez Veterans defeated Fatorda Veterans via tie-breaker 7-6 to enter the final of the 6th All Goa Panjim Veterans Soccer, played at Taleigao ground, on Wednesday.
Fatords Veterans dominated the first half and came close to scoring twice but their forward missed easy sitters.
In the tie-breaker, Bardez Veterans scored through Bruno, Narendra, Allwyn, Alexender, Lourenco, Anand and Ramesh while Vincent, Agnelo Gomes, Agnelo Araujo, John, Remy and Aldrin scored for Fatorda Veterans.
Fatorda’s Agnelo Gomes was awarded the man-of-the match.
