Batim hold Mardol, St Estevam win

Batim Youth Club and United Club of Mardol were involved in an amazing 3-3 draw in GFA’s Third Division at University ground, Taleigao on Tuesday. Mardol led 2-1 at the breather.
Siddesh Naik opened the scoring for Mardol in the 26th before Prashant doubled the lead three minutes later.
Four minutes before the break, Franky Lopes pulled a vital goal back for Batim.
In the second half, both teams continued to press forward but had no luck. In the 77th Prashant scored his second to give Mardol a two-goal cushion, but Marlon D’Souza netted in the 83rd and Danny Fernandes equalised deep into injury time to spoil Mardol’s party.
In another match at Taleigao ground, St Estevam Sports Club overcame Carambolim Sports Club 4-1.
