RAIA: Batora United got the better of Corjem 6-3 via the tie-breaker to move to the quarter-finals of the 9-a-side inter-ward football tournament, organised by Sporting Club of Virabhat Club, at St. Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Friday.
Corjem took lead in the 24th minute through Roy Dias. Later, in the second half, Ray Dias doubled the lead.
Batora United pulled a goal back in the 36th minute through Grandvill Barretto. Edmon Dias scored the equalising goal for Batora in the 48th minute.
In the tie-breaker Batora United proved to be better shooters.
