MAPUSA: Unbeaten Goa continued on their winning streak as they drubbed Uttarakhand by 18-5 margin in the 37th National Games Beach Football played at Colva beach, on Monday.
Goa Coach Bruno Coutinho brought number of changes in his starting side yet the players pinned their opponents inside their territory by scoring at regular intervals.
Satish Naik, 5, Pedro Gonsalves, 4, Richard Cardoz, 3, Kashinath Rathod, 2, Nehal Parab, 2, Carl Joshua Vaz,1 and Latish kunkolkar,1, scored for Goa, while for Uttarakhand colts Sarshan C, Mary Sagin and Chandan Karwa scored. On Tuesday, in the semi-finals, Goa will face Lakshyadeep at Colva beach, at 4.30 pm, while Kerala meet Punjab, at 3 pm.
