ASSOLDA: Beard Boys London got the better of Mix Boys, Navelim 7-6 via the tie-breaker to lift the 4th Miracles Cup, at Assolda ground, recently.
Mix Boys midfielders Bony and Climax created a couple of chances in the first half but foward Travis failed to convert on several occasions.
Later in the second half, Terrance missed a chance to score in the 50th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Beard Boys London netted through Gunda, Cyrus, Alfred, Presly, Santan, Nickson and Lloyd while Prestly, Travis, Nevil, Bonny, Velinton and Joe found the net for Mix Boys, Navelim
Hazel Fernandes (ZP Member, Xeldem) was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Club President Likton Gonsalves, Melrou Moura, Brahmanand Shankwalkar, Arjuna Awardee and other dignitaries.
