SAO JOSE DE AREAL: Chandor SC and Sao Jose de Areal played a 2-2 draw while UC Benaulim thrashed Dando Boys, Colva in their respective encounters ofthe GFA Third Division football match on Monday.
At Sao Jose de Areal, at Padribhat ground, Velroy Fernandes opened the account for Chandor in the 5th and double the lead in the 12th minute, to complete his brace.
Crossing over, Agio Antao scored a brace netting in the 46th and 90th minute for Areal.
In another match at Dando-Benaulim ground, UC Benaulim defeated United Boys of Dando, Colva 8-3.
Cannut Fernandes scored five goals for the winners netting in the 16th, 28th, 32nd, 51st and 68th while Standly Fernandes, Velington Rocha and Velsly Afonso scored a goal each for Benaulim. At the other end, Veloid Dias scored a brace for Colva scoring a goal in either half in the 35th and 53rd minute. Anslam Rodrigues scored the third for Colva in the 83rd minute.
