RAIA: Benaulim Veterans defeated Cardozo Brothers 3-1 to move into the next round of 2nd Our Lady of Fatima Veteran Football Cup organised by Our Lady of Fatima Sports and Cultural Club, Baida-Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim.
In the first session of play, Benaulim Veterans scored through Edward Dias in the 10th and 14th minutes of play while Charles Da Silva scored a goal in the 17th minutes.
In second half, Cardozo Brothers reduced the margin through Seby Leitao. Benaulim Veterans’ Edward Dias was presented the man-of-the-match by Menino Rebello, treasure of the club.
