RAIA: Benaulim Veterans blanked Varca Veterans 2-0 in the 2nd Fatima Cup Veterans organised by Fatima Sports and Cultural Club, Baida-Chinchinnim, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, on Thursday.
Pele Fernandes of Benaulim opened the account in the 25th minute. At half time, Benaulim led 1-0. In second half, Benaulim dominated the match. It was Pele again who netted his second goal in the 48th minute to complete his brace.
Camilo Goes of Varca was awarded the man-of-the-match by Piedade Rebello, treasurer of the club.
