Benny XI draw with Signals

Benny XI Sports Club, Mapusa and Corps of Signals settled to a 2-2 draw in a round 13 match of GFA 1st Division League at Poriat grounds Calangute, on Saturday. Signals led 1-0 in the first half, scored through the boots of Bharat.
After the break, a determined Benny pressed their attack, but they had to wait till 70th minute to equalise through striker Trevor, whose direct top of the box shot found the Signals nylons (1-1). Five minutes later, Benny striker Myron Fernandes dribbled past Signals defender and placed the ball past Signals custodian (2-1).
Signals were in no mood to let Benny get away with a 2-1 lead, army striker Soma restoring parity in the injury time 2-2.
