PANJIM: Benny XI Sports Club registered a thumping 5-1 win over Holy Cross Sports Club, Arambol to reach the semi-finals of the Bardez Zone Goa Football Association Third Division League Play -off match played at Assonora ground, on Friday.
The winners led 1-0 at the break with Baggio Monteiro scoring the lone goal in the first session.
In the second half Benny XI ran riot as they scored goals at regular intervals.
Manthan Parwar scored a brace for the winning team while Mikhail Dias and Nikesh Mangueshkar netted a goal each.
Amit Rane managed to pull a goal back for the losing side.
