Betalbatim Sporting Club got the better of Carmona Sports Club 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of 22nd St Rock super soccer in memory of Nazario Dias organised by St Rock Youth Club at St Rock ground, Majorda on Monday. There was no score at the lemon break.
Changing ends, Betalbatim shot into the lead through Hayston D’Costa in the 65th minute while Dickson Rogtao doubled the lead in the 70th minute.
Earlier on Saturday, Davorlim Sporting overcame strong contenders, Parish Youth, Nuvem 1-0 to qualify for the quarter-finals.
The match-winner was netted by Anthony Figuereido.
