MAJORDA: Betalbatim Sports Club beat Our lady of Gloria by 4-3 via tie-breaker to enter the semi-final of the 24th Lourdes Festival Soccer, organised by United Club of Utorda in association with Sports Authority of Goa in memory of late Miguel Azavedo at Musson ground on Thursday.
Betalbatim took the lead in the 9th minute through Manuel Fernandes.
Raia’s Melvin levelled terms in the 23rd minute with a brilliant solo effort that saw him dribble past couple of rival defenders before slotting past the keeper.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Betalbatim proved to be better shooter.
