Betalbatim Sports Club defeated Ambelim Sports Club 2-0 in the15th late Muriel Faleiro rolling trophy soccer tournament organised by Parish Youth, Nuvem at Nuvem Church ground on Friday. Betalbatim led 1-0 at half time.
Betalbatim opened the account through Desmond scoring a 25-yard free-kick.
Changing over, Ambelim tried their best to equalize but missed easy chances. Betalbatim played according to a plan and succeeded when Joseph Fernandes relayed the ball to Desmond who scored taking his team to a 2-0 lead.
