Betalbatim dominated the game and took the lead through Jeston Fernandes in the 11th minute of the first half. After the lemon break, Klinnsnam Pereira and Luis Rogtao increased the lead in the 25th and 31st minutes respectively. Clube Sao Minguel reduced the margin through a penalty shot out.
Earlier, chief guest Bridget Barretto accompanied by club president Agnelo Pereira and secretary Trindade Fernandes declared the tournament open.
Francis Morais, Tony Fernandes and Remedious Monterio co-ordinated.
The winners will get Rs 40,000 while the runners-up Rs 30,000 besides trophies. The final is slated on November 16, on the occasion of Our Lady of Lourdes feast.
