PANJIM: BFA Vaddem defeated Vaddem Boys 2-0 to win the Independence Cup, organised by Moira Club, recently at Moira.
Chief guest Fr Alexander Pereira gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of guest of honour Acting Sarpanch of Moira Oswald Cordeiro, and all VP members. BFA Vaddem were richer by Rs 20,000 while Vaddem Boys had to settle for Rs 15,000.
