AGASSAIM: Bhagwat SC and Portais SC played out a 1-1 draw in the Goa Football Associations Second Division League match, played at Agassaim ground, on Saturday.
Either of the teams started the match on equal footing however it was the Portais side that went into the lead in the 41st minute as Mohit Jalmi after receiving a ball from his teammate shot the ball past the rival keeper to make it 1-0.
PPost resumption, Bhagwati SC came back stronger in the game and pushed harder as they constantly attacked the rival citadel.
The hard work finally paid off as Rahul Gawas netted the equaliser in the 63rd minute to make it all square in Agassaim.
The teams later on tried to surge ahead but either of the strikers fumbled at the rival goal.
