PALDEM-CURTORIM: Bhatti blanked Fondegal 5-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Paldem Sports Club inter-ward football tournament, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.
Fondegal striker Aliward Mascarenhas and Terrance Fernandes missed chances to score in the second and fourth minutes respectively.
It was Mayvn Dias who opened the score-line for Bhatti in the seventh minute while Stevan Dias doubled the lead for Bhati in the 45th minute.
Jovi Dias netted a brace in the 49th and 52nd minutes and in the last minute of the match James Fernandes made it 5-0 for Bhati.
Fondegal tried their best to get back in the game but were outclassed in all departments.
