CURCHOREM: Bhumi Katambale, student of Bhatikar Model High School, Margao won the Silver medal in Girls U-14 category of Silambam Martial Arts at the 64th National School Games held at New Delhi, recently.
Katambale was trained by coach Roselda Fernandes under the guidance of All Goa Silambam Association Secretary Saby Fernandes.
Allan Dias. Delwin Fernandes, Tanvesh Velip, Barvesh Naik, Sakshi Mapkar, Sneha Gaonkar, Durva Mapkar, Jostian Jose, Agam Ghadi, Anjali Velip, Sonia Barui, Prachi Gaude and Nimesh Gaunkar were the other participants from Goa in U-14, U-17 and U-19 boys and girls category respectively.
