PANJIM: Calangute Veterans stamped their superiority with a comfortable 3-0 win against Bardez Veterans in the final of the first Goa Tiger Cup 2022 All-Goa inter-village football veterans tournament, organised by Goa United Sports Academy, at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, Calangute, on Sunday.
The deadlock was broken only in the second half through Bibiano Fernandes in the 30th minute.
They got their second 10 minutes later through Alwin Fernandes and the latter scored another in the 48th minute to seal the title.
The winners were awarded Rs 60,000 while the runners-up took home Rs40,000 along with the trophies.
