MAPUSA: FC Tuem made a bright start in their IWL 2 Fixture Group C as they hammered City Bahadurgarh FC by 6-0 margin, in the match played at Duler Stadium, here, on Sunday.
FC Tuem eves opened their floodgates in the very 6th minute when Pusha Parab collecting a through pass from Sibani Sharma slotted the ball into the goal, 1-0.
It did not take long for FC Tuem eves to double their lead with Laxmi Tamang giving finishing touches after Pearl Fernandes had done the spadework, 2-0.
As the match progressed in the 13th minute, Pushpa Parab netted a brace off a through pass from Arpita Pednekar.
Referee Usha pointed to the penalty spot after City Bahadurgarh eve Aditi Pawar tackled Pearl Fernandes inside the penalty box. Sibani Sharma stepped forward to score the fourth goal.
On crossing over, Kimberly Fernandes made it 5-0 scoring from the penalty spot while substitute Fatima Braganza dribbled past a host of rival defenders to make it 6-0.
In the next match, Celtic Queens FC drubbed Khad Football Club by 4-0 margin.
Amrita Sharma scored in the added time of the first session with Promila netting the second goal for Celtic eves on crossing ends.
Simran Gurung netted a brace in the dying minutes of the regulation time.
