MARGAO: Manora Youth Club got the better of Gloria Sports Club 5-2 in the Goa Football Association’s Third Division League football match (Salcete zone), at Manora ground, on Tuesday.
In the first half, Manora Youth Club scored in the 14th minute through Alvino Pereira’s deft placement.
Soon, Manora Youth Club extended their lead through Schubert Fernandes. Minutes later, Schubert secured his brace to make it 3-0.
Gloria SC reduced the margin through Remedious Dias in the 32 minute.
In the second half, Manora Youth Club made it 4-1 through Valeto Miranda in the 44th minute with a powerful header.
Thereafter, Cliff Miranda made it 5-1 with a rasping drive at the hour mark but Gloria SC’s Alex Vaz netted their second goal in the dying minutes. SCC Loutolim will take on Shiroda Youth Club, at Manora ground, on Wednesday.
