Big win for Mundivel

Mundvel S C scored another impressive 7-0 win against Baina Sports Club in a GFA Third Division (Mormugao Zone) match at Tilak Maidan, here on Saturday.
Mundvel had scored an 8-0 win against Baina Youth Recreation Center in their inaugural match.
Gemmy Costa and Remy Fernandes scored a brace each, while Minguel Barreto, Navnath Gad and Naigel Colaco scored one each.
Mundivel led 2-0 at the breather.
Mundivel kicked off the proceeding on a promising note and scored the first goal in the 17th minute when Minguel Barreo served the Gemmy Costa on the platter. Before going for lemon break, Minguel doubled the lead after receiving a pass from Remy Fernandes.
Crossing over, Mundivel scored five more goals. In the 64th minute, Gemmy scored his brace with a solo effort and thereafter Remy scored two more in quick succession to make the scoreline 5-0.
At the fag end, Navanath Gad scored the sixth goal with a solo effort and in the injury time Naigel Colaco sealed the fate of Baina scoring the seventh goal.
