FATORDA: United Boys of Palolem defeated Sarzora SC 9-2 in the GFA U-14 League match, at Artificial turf ground, Fatorda, on Thursday.
United Boys of Palolem dominated the match right from the start.
It was raining hat-tricks as Gangaram Kharai and Rohit Naik of United Boys Palolem scored a hat-trick each in their rout of Sarzora SC
In the 2nd minute, Rohit Naik dribbled past the defenders and sent in a beautiful strike towards the goal however his shot hit the goal post and went out of play.
In the very next minute Ralloy Tavares of Palolem hit the crossbar of Sarzora SC.
Gangaram Kharai netted his hatrick for Palolem in the 5th 6th and 8th minutes respectively. Soon it was Shubam Naik who took the tally to 4-0 for Palolem in the 9th minute.
Rohit Naik scored in the 22nd, 44th and 62nd minutes respectively while
Ralloy completed his brace after scoring in the 42nd and 56th minutes.
Adriel Mendes and Nash Fernandes scored a goal each for Sarzora in the 40th and 50th minute to reduce the margin.
In another match at Quitula ground, Quitula SC, Aldona thrashed Valankani SFC 7-0 in the U-14 Group E match.
Quitula opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Fraizer Fernandes.
In the 26th minute, Haftab Hawaldar made it 2-0 for Quitula.
Quitula should have scored at least 3 more goals but their strikers Tarak Khanolkar, Mackenzie Fernandes missed sitters.
In the second half Yuvraj Naik scored a brace in the 54th and 55rd minute while Tarak Khanolkar made it 5-0 in the 57th minute off a pass from Krish Naroji.
Later Vignesh Plle and Fraizer scored in quick succession to take the tally to 7-0 for Quitula SC.
