Bike It Up, driving kids towards fitness

PANJIM:  The 3rd edition of Panjim Cycling Club’s annual kids’ cycling event Bike It Up received tremendous response with over 375 registered young riders, the youngest riders being four years old.

The kids and parents had a jolly time riding around Goa University campus with full excitement and energy. Renowned singer Hema Sardessai and Goan tennis star Natasha Palha graced the occasion to flag off the event and encouraged the riders. Every rider was awarded with a unique PCC medal.

“The event was organised by the club with the intent of driving kids towards fitness via cycling which is an important element in this modern screen driven world,” stated Amey Kamat, president Panjim Cycling Club.
