CALANGUTE: Ciana Lobo, women school international player, Dwayne Coelho and Cathia Coelho, sub-junior international wind surfer, who brought laurels to the village of Calangute and Goa were felicitated by MLA of Calangute Constituency Michael Lobo on the occasion of all-Goa football tournament finals, organized by Calangute and Bardez Veterans, at Calangute Association ground, Calangute.
Dwayne Coelho and Cathia Coelho are the children of Donald Coelho, international wind Surfer while Ciana Lobo, is the daughter of Francis Lobo. All three budding stars are from Khobra Vaddo.
Complimenting the young budding talents, Michael Lobo said, “It is a great honour and privilege for the villagers of Calangute that their own son and daughters brought fame at the very young age at National and International level. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.”
Joseph Sequeira, ex-sarpanch of Calangute, Savio Gonsalves, Deputy Sarpanch of Calangute, Adv. Francisco D’Souza, Alex Fernandes, Matias D’Souza, Anthony Fernandes and other dignitaries were also present.
