VELIM: CAC Cansaulim defeated Rossman Cruz Nagoa, Verna 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Velim Panchayat Cup football tournament organised by Sports and Welfare Club of Zaino Velim, at St.Francis Xavier Church ground, Velim, on Wednesday.
Domnic Soares opened the score-line for Cansaulim with a placement shot in the second minute. Aaren Fernandes doubled the lead for Cansaulim with a curler shot in the 30th minute.
At the other end, Rossman pulled a goal back through Josly Moniz’s snap shot in the 38th minute. Aaren Fernandes netted his brace and 3-1 for Cansaulim with an arrow bound shot in the 51st minute.

As the match progressed in the 70th minute, Domnic Soares netted his brace and made it 4-2 for Cansaulim.
In another match, Cuncolim Union defeated St.Rock YC Calata, Majorda 4-3 to move into the quarter-final.
