Salgaocar were well served by Mario Soares, Robert Fernandes and Roque Carneiro in the midfield and it took them less than a quarter to surge ahead when Roque tapped in a flag-kick taken by Anthony Pereira.
Four minutes later, Xavier Colaco curled in a left-footer after receiving a pass from Robert Fernandes.
After resumption, Navelim Veterans reduced the margin through Seby Pereira.
Salgaocar scored two more goals through the boots of Anthony Pereira and Mario Soares to seal an easy win.
