DULER-MAPUSA: Calangute Association got the better of Goa Police 3-1 to enter into the last eight stage of the 17th Police Football cup tournament organized by Goa Police SC (Sports Cell) and played at Duler stadium, on Wednesday.
Josly Moniz opened the score-line in the 15th minute for Calangute Association but it didn’t take long for Goa Police to equalise as within 15 minutes Shaikh Saliya equalised for Goa Police. Calangute Association fired two more goals through Harshad Naik and Mouses D’Sa in the 35th and 76th minutes respectively.
