AMBOLOUR-VERNA: Chandor’s Camilo Fernandes emerged winner after edging past Musaddik from Margao, 3 – 2 in the All-Goa pool tournament, organised by Play zoon pool, at Verna, recently.
In the first semi-final, Camilo Fernandes beat Santosh Sharma 3–0.
In the second semi –final, MJ Musaddik beat Sameer Shaikh 3–1, while Santosh Sharma settled for third place beating Sameer Shaikh 2-1.
Camilo Fernandes was awarded Rs. 12,000 plus trophy, while runner-up MJ Musaddik bagged Rs. 8000 plus trophy.
Elton Braganza was awarded with the upcoming player of-the-tournament. Chief guest Marcus Fernandes gave away the prizes to the winner and runner-up in the presence of William D’Silva, Richard Pereira and other dignitaries.
