MAPUSA: Camotin Boy moved ahead in the Friends Circle of Candolim Inter-Ward Soccer Tournament, defeating YCO Orda 2-1, at Candolim ground, on Friday.
In the 10th minute YCO Orda forged ahead when Nilesh Savoiverekar drilled a rasping shot which beat Camotin keeper Rakesh 1-0.
As the match progressed Camotin equalized where a clearance by YCO defender hit Camotin striker Alex Pereira head and the ball entered the goal, 1-1.
In the 36th minute Joe Boy received a pass from Nikhil and placed to the left of YCO keeper Eusebio 2-1.
