RAIA: Canacona Sports and Cultural Club downed Sporting Club of Davorlim 2-1 to enter into the quarter-finals of 45th St Joseph Festival football tournament organised by Dramapur SC, at Dramapur ground, on Wednesday.
Canacona Sports and Cultural Club took the lead in the very 4th minute through Ronaldo Oliver off a Velroy Fernandes cross.
Canacona Sports and Cultural Club further inflated the lead through Terance Lobo in the 40th minute.
After that SC Davorlim reduced the margin in 46th minute through Prince Figuiredo. Later, SC Davorlim tried hard to level the score but in vain.
