VARCA: Candolim Veterans edged past Varca Veterans 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st All Goa Veterans Soccer organised by TEXAS Boys, Varca, at Varca SC ground, on Monday.
Candolim Veterans led 1-0 at half time.
Govind Balaker gave the lead in the first half for Candolim Veterans.
Banedit Fernandes doubled the lead for Candolim Veterans in the second half.
Sucorro Pereira reduced the margin for Varca Veterans to make it 2-1
