PANJIM: Candolim Veterans downed Dabolim Veterans 3-0 in the SAI Veterans Super Cup, at Our Lady of Merces church ground, on Friday.
In the 20th minute, Dondu’s curling corner found Domacian Pereira’s back as the ball rebounded into their own goal to give Candolim the lead. Caitan made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute with a fine placement off a pass from Dondu. Caitan scored in the second half after dribbling a couple of Dabolim defenders.
Candolim Veterans will now Varca Veterans on September 24.
