Candolim established easy control and surged ahead in the sixth minute thanks to an own-goal by Nagoa’s Raghuvir Salgaonkar who shot into his goal while attempting to clear a rasping effort by Candolim’s Sagar Batkhande.
rn
Nagoa tried hard to regroup and had a golden opportunity to equalize in the 20th minute but Gaurish Mandrekar headed over in front of the open goal.
rn
