Candolim prevail over Quitula

CALANGUTE, MARCH 27
Candolim Sports Club defeated Quitula Sports Club 2-0 in Rajasthan Marbles Trophy football tournament organised by Saligao United at Dr.Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim on Thursday. There was no score at half time.
      In a keenly contested match, it was Candolim who shot into the lead in the 5th minute of second half through Elvis Pereira off a corner kick taken by Patrick.  
Quitula boys tried hard to find the net but forwards Aaron, Jonathan failed to score. Candolim scored again through Roy Das in the 25th minute to make the issue safe.
