CALANGUTE: Candolim Sports Club prevailed over Sangolda Lightning 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of 1st Francisco and Matildinha Egipsy memorial inter-village football tournament organized by St Savio Sports Club, Calangute at Poriat ground, Calangute, Saturday. There was no score at full time.
In the tie-breaker, Anthony Duarte, Manuel Crasto, Sarvesh Kanekar and Stanley D’Silva converted for Candolim while Govind Balekar, Joseph D’Costa and Prashant Gaonkar found the mark for Sangolda.
