AMBORA: Candolim Veterans blanked Friends Veterans 3-0 to move into the next round of the Late Conceicao Memorial veterans football tournament, organised by Joe Cookies Veterans, Loutolim, at Camorlim panchayat ground, on Saturday.
Candolim Veterans netted the first goal of the match through Patrick Gonsalves in the 10th minute. Ten minutes later, Caetano Xavier netted the second goal for Candolim. Just few minutes left for the final whistle, Shankar Palyenkar netted the third goal.
