AGASSAIM: Carambolim Sports Club progressed in the GFA Third Division League play offs following their 2-1 win over Rosarian XI Sports Club at Agassaim ground, on Monday.
Carambolim SC started the match on the front foot and took the lead in the fourth minute through Mrudul Shirodkar. After nearly end-to-end battle for remaining half, the sides couldn’t score as Carambolim led at the break.
In the second half, Rosarian XI were better side, however, they had to wait until the 76th minute to get the equalising goal which was scored by Tejas Dodamani.
However, Carambolim scored the match-winner in the 85th minute through Mayur Shirodkar.
