VERNA: Cardinal Voice blanked Young Shepherd 3-0 in the final of the Diocesan priests football tournament, organised by the Diocesan Priests Frs Franky,Doel and Milagres, at Bulls Arena Futsal ground, Nagoa, recently.
From the very start, Young Shepherd began their attacking play through Mario and Synter.
The goalkeeper of Cardinal Voice Myron was tested heavily, through a penalty corner Mario gave the led to the Shepherd team. Cardinal strikers Valentino, Benson, tried their best but the formidable defense of Young Shepherd.
Young Shepherd’s Joveir and Christopher netted a goal each and made it 3-0.
A total of 106 priests of Goa Religious & Diocesan participated in the Priests Futsal League tournament.
