RAIA: Carmona Sports Club got the better of Davorlim Sporting Club 3-2 via tie-breaker to enter into the semi-finals of the 32nd St Rock’s Super Soccer organised by St Rock’s Sports Club, Calata-Majorda, at Calata ground, Majorda, on Tuesday.
The match started on a promising note and both teams had an equal opportunities to score in the first session. Dezwin Dias, Shanon Furtado and Stanford Fernandes missed the scoring chance for Carmona SC, while Veliston Colaco, Royson Colaco and Prince Figueredo wasted the golden chances for Davorlim SC.
At the end of regulation time, both teams remained goalless. In the resultant tie-breaker, Carmona SC scored through Aaren Fernandes, Christborn Estibeiro and Dezwin Dias, while for Davorlim SC Milton Colaco and Adrash Raj found the net. PSI Cary Fernandes awarded the man-of-the-match to Alikhan of Davorlim Sporting Club.
