CDJ, Baina Youth, Holy Cross win

Jose Fernandes netted four goals as CDJ Ribandar hammered Aivao United Football Club 6-0 in GFA’s Third Division at Taleigao ground on Thursday.
Chandan Gawde opened the scoring in the tenth. With a rampage of goals, Jose netted in the 15th, 20th, 62nd and 72nd. Roque Fernandes was also on the score sheet for Ribandar.
At St Anthony’s church ground, Siolim, Holy Cross came back from a goal down against Cunchelim Sports Club to register a 3-1 victory. Ashley Fernandes equalised in the 60th, Anthony Rodriguese doubled in the 76th and Keval Fernandes netted eight minutes before end. Earlier, Amit Virnodkar had given Arambol the lead.
Baina Sports Club defeated Cross Boys 2-1 at Tilak Maidan, Vasco while Baina Youth overcame Chicalim Sports Club 4-1.
