RAIA: CDJ Ribandar defeated Ambelim Sports Club 3-2 to enter into the quarterfinals of the Late Bishute Temudo, Frankie Pires and Jose Santa Rita Coelho memorial inter-village football tournament played at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Thursday.
Saish opened the scoreline for CDJ Ribandar in the 10th minute but the joy was short-lived as Asfin equalised for Ambelim in the 13th minutes than Sandesh netted the second goal for Ribandar in the 14th minutes after that Asfin equalised for Ambelim Sports Club in the 24th minute.
Nosh netted the third goal for Ambelim Sports Club in the 37th minutes after which CDJ Ribandar netted two quick goals through Yardhan and Sandesh in the 38th and 50th minute, respectively.
