MAPUSA: CDJ Ribandar registered a hard fought 1-0 win over Goan Warriors Sports Club to advance into the quarter-finals of the 14th Reira Soccer Trophy, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, at Saligao ground, on Thursday.
CJD Ribandar’s all-important goal was scored by Pravin Bandodkar. CJD Ribandar dominated in the first-half. However, on crossing end, Goan Warriors worked hard but the last line of Ribandar defence failed to bulge under pressure.
