RAIA: CES and Borda Government College made it to the finals of the inter-collegiate invitational football tournament played at Ambelim football ground.
In the league matches, CES College trounced GMFC Dharbandora by 10-0. Rahul Gaonkar and Akshay Velip scored hat-tricks while Ivo Costa and Livon Dias scored a brace each.
Borda Government College defeated St Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim, by a goal scored by Santosh Vishwakarma. Earlier, Vidhya Prabodini College, Porvorim defeated MES College, Zuarinagar, by solitary goal scored by Nandish Shirodkar while Damodar College of Margao beat Vivekanand College, Borim, by a solitary goal. The all-important goal of the match was scored by Raj Kerkar.
