RAIA: Chandor Club defeated Ambelim SC 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Lourdes Soccer football tournament played at Ambelim sports complex, on Thursday.
Joaquim Carvalho and Gale D’Costa netted a goal each for Chandor Club, while for Ambelim SC Samson Fernandes scored. The man-of-the-match award was presented to Gale D’Costa of Chandor Club by Benjamin Silva, president of Ambelim SC.
