CURTORIM: Chandor Club thrashed St Anthony SC, Colva 7-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Wilred Leisure Soccer Cup football tournament organised by Wilred Leisure SC, Curtorim, at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
Chandor opened the score-line in the 4th minute with an arrow bound shot through Moses D’Sa and within a minute Moses netted his brace to double the lead.
Three minutes later, Leno D’Sa made it 3-0 for Chandor.
Irfan Yadav netted a brace in the 18th and 23rd minutes for Chandor.
Five minutes later, Louie made it 6-0 for Chandor. In the 61st minute, Irfan Yadav netted his hat-trick to make it 7-0 for Chandor.
With just nine minutes left for the final whistle, Conrad Fernandes pulled a goal back for Colva.
Chandor Club will now meet the winner of Parish Youth Nuvem and SCC Loutolim in the quarter-final on August 1.
